Retro Wedding Dresses we Love!

Topperland has been overwhelmed by the feedback from our wedding dresses through the ages series so we decided that we would have to do a follow up on the best retro style dresses we could find from The Vintage Wedding Dress Company for you all to ogle!

Enjoy and do let us know your opinion!

We adore this 1920’s style dress with its low slung waist and loose fitting bodice it will flatter those lucky enough to have athletic or very slim figures by giving the illusion of more curves.

The 1930’s was a decade of decadence as shown in this gorgeous silk gown which is guaranteed to hug your curves and make you feel stunning no matter what your shape!

The 1940’s was a very functional era with women trying to be as feminine as possible with what they had to offer, women would often ensure the silhouette was as feminine as possible as they couldn’t add anything to the dresses such as lace. This gorgeous button detailed dress captures the Hollywood glamour and simplicity of the decade perfectly.

The 1950s was all about getting back the traditional hourglass figure with fuller skirts being used to emphasise this. This dress is another fab modern take on the traditional with a sleeveless dress being used in place of the traditional sleeves.

This iconic shift style dress modelled on dresses from the 1960’s is probably Topperland’s favourite as the design is so simplistic but still so elegant!

So these are Topperlands favourite vintage dresses but we want to see yours! Would you wear a vintage style dress or would you prefer something more up to date? Why not get in touch and let us know!
