Here is a rundown of our favourite wedding dresses from
around the world and let us tell you it puts the frilly white wedding dress to
shame!
We adore the bright and vibrant colours of the traditional
Chinese wedding dress and the sweet notion of wearing red for good luck really
appeals to us.

The Traditional Mongolian Wedding Dress:
This beautiful ornate bright coloured dress known as a Del –
normally the bride wears a lighter version than the groom and all of the
beautiful colours make for such a cheerful atmosphere!

The Javanese Traditional Wedding Dress:
Lots of colour and detailing is used in Javanese culture and
the tradition is to draw on the bride’s forehead as well.

The Sri Lankan Traditional Wedding Dress
This is known as the “Kanydan Saree” and is so beautifully
decorated it almost makes you weep!

The Korean “Hanbok” Wedding Dress:
These are absolutely gorgeous dresses which are made in
beautiful bright colours which are said to keep the spirit light on the special
day.
